First hours with my OM-D

This morning, I took the box and unpacked my OM-D with oly 12-50mm kit lens,oly 45mm f/1.8, panny 20mm f/1.7 and oly 40-150mm f/4.0-5.6 II R

I played around a little bit and found myself really like the feeling of the camera. It's solid, not to small, all buttons are on the right place for me. I have big hands, but that's not a problem with the OM-D.

OM-D's functionality.
The menu is a little tricky. Without the manual you really have to search for settings. Some you will not find without the manual.  But once you get used to it and costumate the buttons to your own favorite functions there is no problem at all. You can give the fn buttons a costumade function. I didn't changed the fn2 button. The fn 1 button is for lock AEL/AFL.
I changed the 4 way buttons. The right button is now iso and the down button I changed to WB. For me this works. The screen is a tilted one. It is very usefull. I really like the touch functionality. You can touch on the screen and the OM-D will focus and make the picture in tenth of a second. You can set the screen to only focus where you tapped without making the picture.

Now the OM-D performance.
Autofocus is very, very ,very fast. I owned a 60D, but the OM-D is faster. I tried all 4 lenses. All four are very fast.
Autofocus is also very accurate. Always spot on. Only when contrast is very, very low there is a little hunting noticeable. In dimm light the focus is very good and again spot on. I didn't noticed any hunting with the 45mm and the 12-50mm.

Now picture quality. It's great. Now I know where people are talking about when to talk about Olympus colors. They are beautiful. The rendering is very smooth and the sharpness is amazing.
